A
Rare Bird.
Priority Mail. 1991.
Engraved black omitted
Scott
No. 2540b
The omission of engraved black, which is used to to
highlight portions of the design, especially around th eye, makes
this poor Priority Mail eagle look like he's been awake too long;
perhaps working a double shift to make sure all that mail gets there
on time. In any case, he is a rare bird with only about 20 examples
reported.

Fly Away, Fly Away.
$14.00 Express Mail.
1991.
Engraved red omitted
Scott No. 2542a
Which is what the
denomination of this stamp seems to have done. The omission
of engraved red (the denomination) leaves the artwork unfettered.
This error is extremely rare, with only a single example being reported.
