No Other Word but Spectacular can
even begin to describe this remarkable transition strip that goes
from black omitted on the left stamp to all colors except magenta
omitted on the right pair. You don't even want to take your
eyes off the magenta roses at right for fear they might vanish
in an instant as well. To top if off, the die cutting is also
omitted. This image is actually cropped from a larger
strip.

A Day at the Races.
Horse
Racing. 1993.
Black omitted
Scott No. 2759b
The omission of
denomination and lettering gives this error an airy sort of feel;
the designs in their pure form so aesthetically pleasing
that one almost wishes they existed as labels that could be
used decorate one's mail.
